for Non NHS Services |
There are some, non NHS, items which GPs are
required to charge for.
The table below lists the costs for a
selection of the most common of these items provided by Northlands, correct as at 1st April
2009. Please note that the list may
not be exhaustive.
These are in accordance with the rates
recommended by the British Medical Association.
Some
recommended travel vaccinations such as Hepatitis A and Typhoid are
available on the NHS and do not incur a fee but those that we have to
order especially, like those listed below will be charged
accordingly. These are approximate amounts as they vary according to
supplies and availability. The nurse will give you up to date
information at the time of your appointment before we place the order.
Please note that all these fees are payable
in advance. Cheques should be made payable to Northlands
Surgery.
