Making
an Appointment on the Web:
In order to make a routine,
ten minute appointment with a doctor
or book your winter flu jab at Northlands, online, you first need to be a
registered user of EMIS Access (see below on this page). Please note
that you are unable to book longer appointments, for full medicals for
example, via this system.
Cancel
an Appointment on the Web:
In
order to cancel any appointment at Northlands, online, you first need to be
a registered user of EMIS Access (see below on this page).
You
may still cancel an appointment at any time, day or night, by telephoning 01249
812141 and taking option
4 from the menu.
EMIS
Access:
Northlands
Surgery offers EMIS Access, a secure online system that is integrated with
our practice appointments system.
Through
EMIS Access you can book a routine doctor's appointment or a winter flu jab; or cancel any
appointment on-line.
To
use the online facilities, you simply have to log into the EMIS Access
website which is accessible from the link below. The
service is free to our registered patients over 16 years of age and is
available day and night, 365 days a year.
If
you wish to use EMIS Access you must first read the EMIS Access
Information Sheet, then apply for an EMIS Access Account using the
Application Form. Information Sheets and Application Forms are
available from reception or via the links below.

link below to download it.
Return
your completed application form to reception or post it to the
surgery. We will then set up your EMIS Access account and create a
letter containing all your account details. For
security reasons you must collect this letter from the practice in
person. Please allow at
least five working days for us to set
up your account before coming to collect your letter, and bring some photo
identification with you as we will need it to verify your
identity.
